How can I avoid sudden disconnection?

Sudden disconnection in most cases is due to line clarity, if the telephone line is too noisy then the two modems drop the connection due to high error ratio.  In some cases reducing the baud rate of the modem could maintain the connection.  And to do that in the control panel right click on the modem, choose properties and from there you just choose the lower speed than the current one, if it still dose not work choose the lower and so on.  If still dose not work, do not hesitate to contact our support team, and they will help you.
