When I
dial, a message appears, “NO dial tone”. Why?
ü If you never managed to connect with the modem before it could be advisable to check that the modem is installed properly. Please refer to the manuals of your modem. If your modem has worked properly before, please do the following check.
ü First check that the line connected to the modem is active and put in the right place, in the line socket.
ü Second, if the modem is external, turn it off and then on again. Third, check if your modem cable is connected to the computer properly. Fourth, if the modem is internal, restart your computer.
